I finally painted up one of my favourite miniatures of all time, the classic Citadel C23 Ogre “Skrag the Slaughterer – Ogre Renegade”.

Not too much to say, he was actually fairly simple to paint and I went with a classic armour scheme of beaten steel with a few Blanchitsu touches on the shoulder pauldrons.

The mushrooms on the base are some metal examples from Tin Man Miniatures (the small ones at the front) and at the back another one from Tin Man and some resin mushrooms which I bought from a chap on Instagram @jingerwarrior who was selling them under the label Rain Miniatures. I don’t know if he is still running this business though.
